Tigers here we come!

In June we were able to celebrate our 12th anniversary with a trip to Detroit!  We spent some time in Dearborn visiting the Henry Ford Museum and taking a tour of the Ford Rouge factory.  The picture below is one of their living's 10 football fields worth of sedum!
We ate at Cheli's chili yummy!
My lover!
 Boys and their toys!
The view from our room in downtown Detroit.....breath-taking!
We ate at this place called "Redsmoke" in greek town.....the best BBQ joint we have ever been to:)
We took the people mover to Comerica park and took in a Tigers game.  What a steamy, fun place to be!  They did lose, but that didn't bother us, we left after the 9th and got some Cold Stone!

In June, because of the generosity of our neighbor, we were able to visit Dutch Village!  This is another activity off of our bucket list:)  The kids talked about and begged for us to go for a few weeks prior to our visit!
The kids were able to do all of their favorite things several times while we were there and the weather was PERFECT!!!!
We all became honorary dutch dancers and even made it on the news:)

Video games, golf and kiddie carts, oh my!

Playing some arcade games while we waited for our pizza at Craig's cruisers!!! One of the first things off our bucket list was to go mini golfing!
 Riding the kiddie carts!!!!
The kids used their tickets that they won in the arcade to get these vampire teeth, as well as a few other prizes!

Thank you!

We had a great time coming up with creative end of the year gifts for our teachers and bus driver!  We came up with a survival kit for Kailyn's bus driver and a special cup for her teacher with a cute banner thanking her for quenching her thirst for knowledge.
We made these straws and kool-aid gifts to hand out to Kailyn's classmates on the last day of school:)
We made these candy bouquets for the piano and dance teachers!  They turned out so cute!!!!
